Ladies, Gentlemen, Interlopers and Bilge Rats! We proudly present the Steamship Circus. We come to you from the South Coast to enthrall and dazzle you with our fantastic circus acts. Take a Scout round our site or email our guy up in the Crow’s Nest if you have any questions!<\/p>\n

Steamship Circus is a contemporary circus and performance group based in Bournemouth, London and Bristol. Specialising\u00a0in Fire and LED performance we have traveled the UK providing not only performance at many great events and venues but also walkabout shows, workshops and street entertainment. We can tailor our\u00a0services<\/a>\u00a0to meet the needs of any event, from private parties and weddings to club nights and corporate events. Not to mention our love for festivals. We pride ourselves on our diversity and flexibility, boasting a large roster of performers with a whole host of skills. Unforgettable Fire Performance<\/h4><\/span><\/span>\n\t<\/div>\n\n\t

Steamship Circus specialises in a variety of breathtaking performances. Chief amongst them is our unforgettable fire performances. We boast a large selection of both classic and bespoke fire props (large and small) and a wealth jaw-dropping acts. With a large roster of friendly, professional and multi-skilled performers we can tailor our shows to almost any event.<\/p>\n

We truly mean it when we say we can tailor our shows to almost any event and we like to take the client and budget into consideration when building our acts. We can offer shows with any number of performers, from as little as one to as many as ten (or more). We can create bespoke music mixes and we provide all our own PA\/Music equipment, costumes and fire safety gear. We have experience performing our fire acts at private parties, public events, weddings, corporate events, festivals and fares. Bespoke LED Performance<\/h4><\/span><\/span>\n\t<\/div>\n\n\t

If fire isn’t your Jam then we also offer a plethora of unique LED performances, experiences and walkabout acts. With high quality and top of the line light props, our performers won’t fail to impress an audience. LED shows are perfect for indoor events, club nights or venues with more stringent licensing.<\/p>\n

Our arsenal of props includes, but is not limited to, LED smart hoops, staff, poi, fans, umbrellas and pixel whips. We are lucky enough to have a set of fully programmable LED visual poi<\/a>, these allow us to program graphics and images into our performances. Meaning if you have a logo, message or text you would like us to include in our show we can do so in bright and colourful style! Our choreographed performances can be set to music either chosen by you or\u00a0curated by us. Just like our fire performances our LED shows come complete with costume and full sound set up.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\t

Walkabout and Character Acts<\/h4><\/span><\/span>\n\t<\/div>\n\n\t

If you would like something a little more immersive for your event then we offer a variety of beautiful and lovingly created walkabout and character acts. These are perfect for festivals, club nights, parades and kid’s events, although we have also taken them to weddings and other corporate events. After all, everybody loves a stilt walker!<\/p>\n

Our acts cover a diverse range of different themes and styles. We cover a lot of events over the summer and we are very popular over the festive seasons too. Our acts include: The Tireless Maids, Christmas Elves, The Storm Dragon, The Puppet Master, Creepy Clowns, Circus Troupe, Tall Tikis, LED Walkabouts, The Pillaging Pirates, Character Appearances and Disney Princesses, as well as our Post-Apocalyptic and Steampunk characters<\/em>. If you’re after something engaging then these are for you. We even do character appearances such as Elsa, Ariel and Tinkerbell for Kid’s Parties too!<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>

Workshops and Games<\/h4><\/span><\/span>\n\t<\/div>\n\n\t

On top of our performance services, we also offer fun and engaging workshops, games and kids entertainment. Our workshops and games are fun for any age and any audience, be it the kids at your school fair or\u00a0the office at your work’s team building event.\u00a0 Our workshops often come packaged up with our other services, so if you fancy some workshops but would also like some walkabout entertainment or a performance then this is something we can certainly provide. Our most popular workshops are our “have-a-go” workshops where kids and adults alike can come and try their hand at a whole host of fun and engaging circus skills.<\/p>\n

Another exciting service that we offer is character appearances, these appearances include our coveted Disney Princesses, including characters such as Elsa,\u00a0Ariel and Tinkerbell. Not one to say “no” to anything, we also take part in a whole bunch of fun and exciting creative projects, community events and promotional work. These projects can take the form of photo shoots, music videos, promotional events, charity events, educational work and more. We have a range of experience taking part in both photography and videography events and we are certainly no stranger to modeling. Leafleting and brand awareness events are also areas were we have enjoyed great success.<\/p>\n
